Bill Howell, Executive Director

Bill is the founder of Roma Learning to Fly. He has over 35 years of experience in leadership development and training. Bill is an engaging and dynamic communicator and is passionate about issues including racial reconciliation, community transformation, and education.

For over 18 years, he has been working towards change and transformation across Europe through leadership training, church planting, and facilitating mission activities. Prior to his work in Europe, Bill Pastored for 27 years and has led congregations in South Bend, Indiana and Fremont, Nebraska. In his role as Senior Leader at Calvary Temple, he was instrumental in racial reconciliation efforts, encouraging and facilitating community dialogue. 

It is Bill’s belief that wherever we go, wherever we live, wherever we work, lives should be better.

Igor Laslofi, Slovak Director

Igor Laslofi has been a partner of Roma Learning to Fly since 2012. As our Slovak Director, he is responsible for project coordination which includes liaising with local leaders, identifying needs of Roma communities, and coordinating the assistance we provide. 

Igor is passionate about seeing transformation take place in Roma communities. He also serves as a Pastor at the Apoštolská Cirkev na Slovensku, where he is responsible for overseeing ministry to the Roma.
